#Then: This is from 1971 and is of Fr Paulo Litumbe who was the first Bishop of Niassa, Mozambique, together here with his wife Helena and family. To read more of his incredible story read Appendix 4 from Helen Van Koevering’s book Dancing their Dreams. A man who knew suffering and loved the people and they loved him. A man who walked and walked to visit remote communities and who preached the gospel wherever he went.
#Now: Lord, we thank you for the example and legacy of Bishop Paulo Litumbe. We ask for your blessing on the present 4th Bishop of Niassa, Bishop Vicente Msosa that you will grant him the wisdom, grace and love for all the peoples of Niassa. Amen.
