It was wonderful to welcome Bishop Andre Soares from Angola to the UK this July. This shared visit with ALMA kept Bishop Andre very busy as he travelled between London, Liverpool, Winchester and many more places speaking in churches, at Chatham House and on the radio. Above is Bishop Andre meeting Revd Dr Marcus Throup, a previous CMS mission partner in Brazil who is now Vocations Adviser & DDO for the Diocese of Winchester. Below is his meeting with Rt Revd Tim Dakin and also meeting St Clement’s, Toxteth – the home church of Archibald Patterson, Missionary to Angola with MANNA trustees. His message was one of concern for the crisis that Angola finds itself in at the moment and the church’s role in that.
