Great swathes of young and old quite often came to faith & confirmation together in a large group, after hearing the call to faith. Bishop Dinis, the longest serving Bishop in the Anglican communion, like all Bishops would often confirm huge numbers of individuals.
#Now: Today, the churches in Mozambique and Angola are still growing with baptisms and confirmations often to be found in our news and facebook feeds.
Lord Jesus, we thank you for huge growth. Today instead we pray for growth in depth for these children and adults that may know Jesus transforming their whole lives, their communities and their churches. Encourage us and others to pick up the challenge of helping to nurture and resource their faith. Amen.
