Manu lives in Benfica, Angola and is involved in mission & evangelism in various parts of Angola. Like other Angolans, he is in lockdown so not able to travel across Angola and so has been spending time in his local community. He has seen immense need there and so has been mobilising the youth in his church to respond. Last weekend, they made up food parcels of rice, pasta and oil and went delivering them to vulnerable families in his community. Watch his story below.
In some parts of Angola, food prices have doubled and because most Angolans cannot go out to work, there is great need. MANNA’s COVID-19 appeal is to enable community health workers to educate & resource in remote areas and also to give food and resources to the most vulnerable, like Manu’s work.
